Evidence-Based Coaching
Every programming choice is traceable to a rationale: the best available evidence, the constraints of your body and the numbers your training produces. Where the literature is uncertain, we say so and test carefully.
These eight principles decide what we programme, what we refuse to sell, and how we measure whether coaching is working.
Every programming choice is traceable to a rationale: the best available evidence, the constraints of your body and the numbers your training produces. Where the literature is uncertain, we say so and test carefully.
Short cycles of aggressive overload produce short careers. Training is planned in blocks, phases and years so that progress compounds and setbacks are absorbed rather than catastrophic.
Training history, injury profile, equipment, schedule, sleep and stress all shape the plan. Two clients with the same goal rarely receive the same programme.
Tissue adapts to progressive, well-dosed load. Rehabilitation is not a separate activity from training — it is training, scaled precisely to current capacity and irritability.
We coach positions that let you express force efficiently and repeatably. Video review is structured, specific and focused on the constraints that actually limit output.
Each block includes teaching: why the session looks like this, what to expect, how to self-regulate. Dependency is a failure state.
We do not sell passive treatment, detoxes or novelty. Consistency, progressive overload, sleep and nutrition are unglamorous and undefeated.
Programmes carry explicit success criteria. If the data does not move, the plan changes — not the client's belief in it.
Applications are reviewed personally. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you and point you somewhere better.
